00:00It's time to dive right into an extended fire picks let's start with MLS the Hudson River
00:08Derby NYC FC will be facing the Red Bulls so all the fans from Jersey will be crossing
00:15the Lincoln Tunnel and going to the Bronx Marcelino what do you think about this surprising
00:21matchup everyone thought this is going to be perhaps Columbus against Cincinnati it's
00:25not happening that was the idea that I had but that's not the case I think this is going
00:33to be a tough battle Santiago Rodriguez and Alonso Martinez from New York City Football
00:37Club are going to be key players they have a great form but I think this time around
00:43the momentum is for New York Red Bulls Emil Forsberg and Lewis Morgan are playing at a
00:47very high level the way they advance in this series show a lot of grit so I think they
00:52going to take the win so one important thing to mention as well about this format that
00:55was installed last year in the MLS playoffs one game only for the semi-finals Marcelino
01:02yes so as we said you know all the all the fans from Jersey will have to move to the
01:07Bronx and it's going to be interesting how this game is held at Yankee Stadium it's going
01:12to be exciting definitely can't wait to see what happens there very very exciting game
01:16that I think that you know Red Bulls is going to win they have the momentum what about the
01:21West Coast LAFC well let's go back to 2019 do you think that could happen again this
01:27season oh man this is this is one of those games that you do not want to face you know
01:33like PTSD is clear these players are going to come out thinking but the beauty of it
01:38is that this this LAFC is a completely different team there's very few I think it's Carlos
01:42Vela and Nelly Segura the only two players are left from that squad so I'm guessing that
01:47Buanga, Timothy Tillman, Bogus they're going to come out hungry for this game they've been
01:54you know they some of them have the international duty so they might be having some tired legs
01:58versus Seattle that has pretty much 22 days resting but I think LAFC is going to take
02:04the result they're going to win decisively 3-1 at home well Seattle has more of those
02:08players I mean they they have not changed their squad as much guys like Stefan Frey,
02:13you know Hotolu, Jordan Morris obviously etc so it's going to be quite a matchup let's
02:18go back to the Eastern Conference a team that we did not expect to see here Atlanta United
02:23they won that dramatic game against Montreal then moved on to the next round after that
02:29wildcard win they took care of Miami do you think they still have the power to get past
02:34Orlando I'm gonna piggyback on our good friend Chivas prediction he was here sitting on this
02:40chair when he said it Atlanta might kick Miami of the competition they did congrats
02:47to Chivas on that but I'm gonna follow that line I think that when you achieve that type
02:52of result it's very hard for you to lose right like the level of confidence especially with
02:59some key players Facundo Torres, Margino Ojeda on Orlando they are really really good but
03:05the level that Gustan is going to show after that heroic series against Miami three games
03:10where he was on Penelope like that he was he was so good so I think that Atlanta is
03:15gonna take this game.
03:16Right, Gustan could very well be the MVP of the playoff so far with everything they take
03:20it to the final he should be amazing Gustan who by the way started with Chivas USA back
03:25in 2005 under our good friend Martin El Pulpo Zuniga and then we talk about Chivas USA so
03:31let's say in Southern California how about the LA Galaxy the most consistent team the
03:35Western Conference this season Gabriel Peck recently named the best newcomer in MLS there
03:40was to have Ricky Pusch running around midfield and releasing those shots from long range
03:45they will be facing Eric Ramsey and Minnesota United one of the deepest teams in MLS.
03:50Yeah Minnesota is always a tough competitor they have as you said one of the strongest
03:55teams but to my disgrace this Galaxy team is off the hook I gotta be honest I have to
04:02you know I have to I have to be journalistic about it they have one of the best MLS teams
04:09the way they play they are so vertical Jovelik, Gabriel Peck, Pinesil all of them and in the
04:15back line they have a very experienced back line also so I feel like although Minnesota
04:21has also you know key players that might make it difficult Galaxy should win this easily
04:27I'm gonna say that 3-0 after the nine goals that they score in the series three sounds
04:32conservative.
04:33Yeah the only thing that I would have going for Minnesota is their momentum they had a
04:37great second half probably the you know one of the top three teams in the Western Conference
04:41in the second half so let's see what they can do against the almighty LA Galaxy and
04:45finally the NWSL Championship Orlando Pride taking on the Washington Spirit what's your
04:51take here?
04:52I mean I think I'm gonna go with Marta, Marta is in those runs where you just have to finish
04:58with a championship I wouldn't be surprised that she you know wants to retire after this
05:04game if she wins because the career that she had will be just the cherry on top she has
05:09never won the championship in the United States she came here to do so and I believe that
05:13this is her opportunity she's not gonna get any closer I'm going with Orlando they're
05:17gonna win.
