3 people have been arrested after allegedly attempting to block the route of a ship leaving the world’s biggest coal port. Two men and a woman were taken to Newcastle police station as protestors say they're taking the action in the name of climate change.

01:02deter those set on trying to prevent a ship from leaving the world's largest coal port.
01:09Three were arrested, as at least 3,000 people gathered for what they're calling the people's
01:14blockade.
01:16This protest is sucking up a lot of police resources.
01:20It's also costing the taxpayer a huge amount of money in terms of the police resources
01:26that are being deployed.
01:28The protesters vowing to be back out on the water again tomorrow.
