00:00Let's update on what's happening on camera regarding the conflict between the fans of the office of the Vice President and DepEd.

00:06We have live on the spot with Jonathan Andal. Jonathan.

00:10Yes Raffy, this is just arriving here in the House of Representatives of the convoy of Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:21We can see her entering the lobby of the People's Center building where the hearing of the House Committee is taking place.

00:33We can see that we have a live feed of VP Sara. She's having fun with the media from top to bottom.

00:41She's now in the hearing room where the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability is hearing the OVP funds and DepEd funds under her leadership.

00:56Meanwhile, Attorney Zulaica Lopez did not attend the hearing because she has acute chest disorder.

01:04That's what Lopez said when he sent an excuse letter to the committee, a large certificate of confinement signed by four doctors of the DMMC or Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

01:16But Deputy Speaker J.J. Suarez said that the doctors in the certificate of confinement did not say that Lopez is not physically capable to attend the hearing.

01:25Despite the absence of Lopez, the remaining four officials of the OVP, or Office of the Vice President, were arrested by the committee after being condemned

01:33for not attending the hearings. Those are Attorney Lemuel Ortono, Gina Acosta, Edward Fajarda and Attorney Sunshine Chary Fajarda.

01:42Meanwhile, the security inside and outside the country is doubled, according to House Secretary General Reginaldo Velasco.

01:49This is in accordance with what VP Sara Duterte said, that an assassin was hired to kill Speaker Martin Romualdez if he was to be killed.

01:57Last Friday, VP Sara said that Speaker Romualdez is the only one who wants to kill him.

02:02Romualdez has not yet responded to that.
