00:00I can't tell you what Kemi is going to be saying to the CBI, but what I can say is from
00:05the conversations I've had with businesses, businesses are really shocked, if not distraught,
00:11at what the government has been doing to them and the impact of the budget on businesses.
00:16So we have a Labour government that said that they were going to be pro-growth and that
00:23talked a nice story to businesses in the run-up to the election and then have turned around
00:27and done the exact opposite, slapped taxes on businesses, made it harder for them to
00:33grow and made it harder for them to employ people, which is something for me, a shadow
00:38secretary of work and pensions, I really want to see businesses able to do.
