00:06This past weekend the singer released the music video for their song I'm Not Here

00:10The visuals were shot in King Henry the 8th's castle and featured cabaret ensembles and
00:14provocatively dressed dancers.
00:16The internet quickly commented on the risque nature of the video with some conservative
00:20commentators calling the video degrading and rallying for an age restriction to be placed
00:24on the video.
00:25However, many defended Smith pointing out the underlying elements of homophobia and
00:29body fascism linked to the criticism.
00:31The singer spoke about the controversy on the Graham Norton show saying nothing lewd
00:35actually happened and quote weirder things have happened in that castle.
00:39They also posted a photo from the video on twitter along with the caption never too much.
