00:10requested 10 years in prison while Shaw's attorneys sought a three-year term. In July,
00:14Shaw pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud for running a telemarketing scheme that
00:19defrauded thousands of elderly people out of tens of millions of dollars, according to court
00:24documents. When Shaw was arrested in March, she insisted that she was innocent. She even made it
00:28the point of her Season 2 tagline, saying, quote, The only thing I'm guilty of is being Shaw-mazing.
00:34Federal authorities used that line against Shaw in sentencing papers, claiming it showed that
00:38she was mocking the system. Shaw is scheduled to report to prison on February 17.
