00:00Elton John performed his final concert on his farewell tour.
00:03This is a very poignant evening because it's the last show of the tour. This is the 330th
00:10counting Glastonbury. We've done 330 shows in 663 days. That's pretty amazing.
00:16Set in Stockholm, Sweden, it wrapped up his farewell Yellow Brick Road tour,
00:20which spanned over five years, 330 shows, and 16 Gucci suits. Grossing over $900 million,
00:27it is considered the highest grossing tour in Billboard box score history. In a career
00:31spanning more than 50 years, John has given more than 4,000 performances in more than 80 countries.
00:36The singer gave a heartfelt thanks to his fans, as well as received a surprise send-off from a
00:41special artist. From all of us here, from all the bands and all the artists that you've loved and
00:46inspired and helped, we just love you so much. We're so grateful for everything you've done
00:51for us, everything you've done for the AIDS Foundation, every time you've been kind to
00:55anybody, everything you've done for LGBTQ, everything you've done for fashion and eyewear,
01:01everything you've done for sexiness and love and dressing gowns, everything you've done for music,
01:06everything Bernie's done for lyrics, everything your band has done, the thousands of shows you've
01:11done. We love you so much, and we're going to miss you so much, man. And here is Gothenburg
01:16going crazy.
