00:00The newest Pokemon game is one played simply by sleeping. Nearly 4 years after it was first
00:05announced, Pokemon Sleep will soon be making its way to nightstands around the world. Essentially
00:09a Pokemon themed sleep tracker, the app allows users to interact and collect various Pokemon
00:14based on how they rest. All players have to do is leave their phone beside them when they go to bed,
00:18allowing the app to act as a sleep recorder and use sound analysis to track bedtime patterns.
00:23The app then offers statistics such as how long one has been asleep and the time it took them
00:27to fall asleep. It also categorizes sleep states into three categories, dozing, snoozing,
00:32and slumbering, and attracts different kinds of Pokemon for each. An official release date
00:35for Pokemon Sleep has yet to be announced but is expected to arrive this summer.
