00:22President Biden also spoke with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expressing, quote,

00:27"...deep sympathy in the face of an unprecedented and appalling assault by Hamas terrorists."

00:32Additional assistance for the Israeli Defense Forces is currently on the way to Israel,

00:36and more is set to follow over the coming days, according to a White House statement.

00:40The White House is also currently considering tapping into a large but little-known stockpile

00:44of ammunition in Israel.

00:45These stores help provide arms and ammunition for the Pentagon in conflicts with the Middle

00:49East and have even helped meet Ukraine's need for artillery against Russia.

00:53A U.S. official told Politico enough of the stockpile is left for Israel.

00:57But tensions in the House of Representatives following the ousting of former House Speaker

01:01Kevin McCarthy means aid for Israel may not be quickly available.

01:05In an interview with Fox News, McCarthy said,

01:07"...there is nothing the House can do until they elect a speaker, and I don't know if
