00:15You know, there's always been a debate about Bollywood and South cinema and you've also

00:22kind of time and again mentioned that you're always referred in articles as South Indian

00:27actor rather you should be referred as an Indian actor. Was it necessary for your character to be

00:33referred as a sexy Tamil friend or a Tamil friend? I don't think there's any harm in, you know,

00:40saying he's a Tamil guy from India. So it's absolutely fine. But yes, I do. I have

00:48some, what to say, I'm not, I would appreciate if they collectively call us as Indian actors

01:00rather than South actors, North actors. I mean, the world has shrunk and the borders have,

01:07the lines are like, you know, they are going, they're fading and this is the time to, you know,

01:13come together and make this one big industry. I mean, it is a huge industry and it'll be really

01:20great if we function together and make movies for everybody, not just South audience or

01:25North audience. It is not regional film. It's a national film, not regional films. Every film

01:29is a national film. The government support from all around is very overwhelming. I was very touched

01:35and humbled and I was very happy to see it was very well received and I read so many nice things

01:44about Avik San. It was, it is everything that an actor could ask for, you know, unconditional

01:51love and support from the audience and a good critical acclaim. So it's amazing to be a part

02:00of this entire journey. One of the many things that really, really excited me about this,

02:05I've never done anything like this before, the stunt training it required, the character required

02:11was absolutely justified. You know, people watch South films, we watch North films, like

02:19every film is for everybody, you know, especially with the digital platforms. Now everybody has

02:25easy access to watch everybody's work. Talents are easily seen, you know, people can, like,

02:33it is a great time to be an actor as well. If you do a good job, if you do your job right,

02:38you are noticed by everybody. So it's just great. It just doesn't make sense,

02:46even now at these times, to mention me or anybody as South actor. We're just actors from India,

02:54Indian actors.
