00:09Hi, I'm Anjali.
00:10Tanya is Rani.
00:15So everybody feels like, oh because you did Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, of course that's why you did Surya Navigar.
00:20I was called by the casting director.
00:30The character that was a bit more boyish.
00:36In my audition tape, when you see the intro, it says work experience.
00:40And the only work experience I did was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
00:42Then they realised that I'm the same girl.
00:45And they said, okay, you know, she's got long hair and everything.
00:47Let's try for this other character which we're casting for.
00:50And then I auditioned for the other character.
00:52And then I got it.
00:53And my mom was like, you know, I was a very bubbly kid.
01:00What she told me was back then from school, somebody was like, oh, like I'd like to, you know, take her for a commercial.
01:06And I was doing like, you know, a lot of ads back then.
01:09So everybody was always very patient when it came to the children on set.
01:26Because they know it's not easy for kids too.
01:28Because we don't know what we're doing.
01:30We just know we're having fun.
01:31And that's what we were doing in some way.
01:34But it was obviously amazing.
01:37I had most of my stuff with Shah Rukh Khan and Farida Jalal.
01:42And I had a ball working with Farida Jalal also.
01:44But I remember, like, she was like a grandmom on my set.
01:48Like she was loving and she was everything.
01:50She was motherly and she was my companion in most scenes.
01:58Then I took a sabbatical and I was, you know, because I had my 8th and my 9th and 10th.
02:03And all that kind of gets to you, right?
02:05Your board exams.
02:14They're okay if you come after college.
02:16They're ready to give you Saturday, Sunday off.
02:19And they are okay if I take a break while I have exams going on.
02:23So my parents were always very particular to make sure that this is a decision I make for myself.
02:29And not a decision that is made for me.

02:40Everybody makes a PPT before you show it to a client.
02:43Most people's PPT, they were like, Sana will come and do this.
02:46So I was also acting in that office when I was actually not doing the job I was supposed to do.
02:57I did my pictures. I sent it out to casting directors.
03:00I didn't know anybody.
03:01And then I just got called very randomly for student of the year.
03:10I have a love for storytelling. I have a love for stories.
03:13And I love acting.
03:15I am planning on producing next.
