00:12A close associate of Goldie Brar from the Lawrence Vishnoy gang claimed the responsibility
00:16for the murder in a social media post.
00:19The incident was captured on CCTV and here's what we know about the case.
00:23On 12th September 2024, around 10.44pm, the gym owner was seen talking to a man while
00:29standing near a few parked cars.
00:31A few seconds later, another man in a check shirt was spotted walking towards them.
00:36He then suddenly opened fire at the gym owner.
00:39The other man with the gym owner ran away while the shooter kept firing and aimed at
00:43his target.
00:44The shooter then fled the scene by hopping onto a motorcycle parked a few metres away.
00:49The police said there were two attackers and one of them was waiting with the motorcycle.
00:54The gym owner was immediately rushed to the hospital by his friends and the police were
00:57alerted about the incident.
01:14Shah who was of Afghan origin, lived in Chitranjan Park.
01:17According to the police, Shah also owned a business in Dubai and had several criminal
01:22cases against him.
01:30Shah was soon declared dead.
01:32Following the incident, a social media post popped up in which a man named Rohit Godara
01:37took responsibility for the murder of Shah.
01:40He said, our brother Sameer, who is in Tihar, had sent a message that he is meeting our
01:44enemy and creating problems in all our work.
01:48That is why we got him killed.
01:50Whoever supports our enemy or our brother's enemy will face this result.
01:54All our enemies should be ready.

01:57According to India Today, Rohit Godara had been living in the United States and running
02:02his gang from abroad for the past 2-3 years.
02:05In the social media post, when Godara mentioned Sameer Baba, he was referring to jailed gangster
02:10Hashim Baba, who had links with Goldie Brar and Lawrence Vishnoy.
02:13The police said it was a well-planned murder, which was organised from inside Tihar jail.
02:18They said Hashim Baba sent his associates to kill Shah because they thought he was leaking
02:22their private information and causing their men to get arrested.
02:25So far, 5 people had been arrested but the person who shot Shah was still on the run.
02:30The police said that the arrested suspects were involved in getting the weapons and bike
02:34used in the crime, as well as aiding the shooter's escape.
