00:00That's got like this dream cast of Deepika, Ajay.
00:03I mean I think that's perhaps the equivalent of The Avengers if you haven't been on the
00:09back foot for a very long time.
00:11Both my last two films have not done very well at the box office.
00:21You've got multiple films that have done really well at the box office but how do you deal
00:27with that one odd film that doesn't do as well as expected?
00:31I really take it to heart because I put in a lot of effort into every one of my films
00:38and primarily because I'm an action hero there's a lot that it takes in terms of
00:43the physical, mental, emotional stress that I put on myself going through those sequences just to
00:49make it larger than life.
00:52The whole team in fact you know just mounting an action film of scale is not an easy task.
00:59So it just sort of you know when a film doesn't do well at the box office it's just
01:03all of those visuals just hit me of what I went through.
01:06I mean and then I start questioning myself was it worth it and this and that but it sort of
01:10takes about a week for me to be in that zone and then once I'm out once I start working on the next
01:15it sort of eases out and gets better but I sort of use that as fire to move on to my next one.
01:21Does that also come from sport like the fact that you've played so much sport?
01:25I think so I'm a sore loser, I'm a sore loser.
01:27I like to win, everybody likes to win.
01:29Of course.
01:29I just like to win a little bit more.
01:31And when you say you like to win a little bit more just has it ever happened with you that
01:36you know you've been in a situation where you've seen a product because you know I've also done
01:40multiple films I've seen a film and I'm just like well this is not going to work.
01:43Has it ever happened to you that you're like oh my god this doesn't look like?
01:47Subconsciously yes it happens to me but I'm too much in denial and I'm too much in love
01:53with you know with my work and with the effort that goes into making a film.
02:00Yeah.
02:01Subconsciously yes I have identified you know with a film that hasn't worked in the past.
02:08I haven't had the balls to say it though.
02:10I haven't been on the back foot for a very long time.
02:14Both my last two films have not done very well at the box office.
02:21You've got Rohit Shetty's next Singham.
02:24Yes.
02:24And then that's got like this dream cast of Deepika, Ajay.
02:28I mean I think that's perhaps the equivalent of the Avengers if we were.
02:32Yeah.
02:32What's the drawback of working in an ensemble film?
02:35I don't see any drawback honestly.
02:37For me it's just a it's a complete joy ride.
02:41Yeah but it's your first right?
02:42It's my first ensemble film.
02:45Obviously working with you know captain of the ship Rohit Shetty sir
02:49just such a such a privilege to work with him.
02:52I'm sort of just pretty much chilling like this.
02:55Why is that?
02:55Because I know exactly when he's behind the camera I'm just you know
02:59sort of going to be glorified and you know he's the way he's you know
03:03constructed the sequences, the way he shot his heroes, the way he's you know
03:08mounted the film and the sequences.
03:12I think it's definitely going to be a spectacle.
03:14I had a lot of scenes with Ajay sir, with Ranveer, with Kareena ma'am, with Akshaya sir.
03:21Of course I've done a whole film with so there was already that comfort going in.
03:25But each one of them are just so cool and so secure in their shoes and so
03:30you know it's not like one trying to outdo the other.
03:33That kind of stuff doesn't happen?
03:34Not at all.
03:35It was so cool.
03:36Everybody was just so comfortable in their own space and their own characters.
03:40Everybody brought in you know what they do best and it just blended in so so beautifully
03:45and I think that's what's going to just show on screen.
