वैभव को बचपन से ही क्रिकेट के प्रति लगाव था वैभव का जन्म समस्तीपुर जिले के मोतीपुर में हुआ. पांच साल की उम्र से ही वैभव को उनके पिता संजीव नेट प्रैक्टिस करवाने लगे. वैभव के पिता ने इसके लिए घर पर ही नेट लगवाया. फिर वैभव ने समस्तीपुर की क्रिकेट एकेडमी में दाखिला लिया. इसके बाद वैभव ने पटना के जीसस एकडेमी में मनीष ओझा से ट्रेनिंग ली है.
