00:00My name's Jason from Shropshire Cycle Hub and we've just recently started working with the
00:04indoor market here to help the independent traders provide a free-to-use delivery service
00:09using these e-cargo bikes that have been bought by Shrewsbury Town Council. So a shopper can come in
00:14here, they can buy their shopping as they normally would but rather than having to carry it home
00:18themselves we're able to carry it for them and that enables them to be able to maybe buy more,
00:24keeps the market accessible to people that might be elderly or infirm unable to get around so much
00:30but importantly for a cycle hub as well it's about saving the planet so it gets cars off the road
00:34and improves accessibility for everybody in the town centre. Anyone in the market is able to use
00:38this service, either the trader can request a delivery from us, we're here every Thursday,
00:43Friday and Saturday or the shopper can be in touch with us direct and request that we go to a
00:48particular trader and pick up the goods on their behalf and take it home to their home within a
00:53three mile radius of the town centre. We're here every Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10am
00:58and 2pm. We've got a cohort of about eight active volunteers that will ride the bike and do the
01:04delivery so we're all volunteers but it's not just the market we are aiming to roll this service out
01:09to any independent trader within the town centre.
