00:10defeats on the bounce for the first time ever as a coach.

00:14I've picked out some things from the weekend related to Spurs that you might have missed.

00:19First of all, there were two new academy graduates on the bench for Tottenham at the Etihad,

00:23Callum Olucesi and Malakai Hardy. Olucesi is a 17-year-old central midfielder, Hardy

00:28a 16-year-old central defender. Their presence among the sub spoke to how depleted Prostokoglou's

00:34squad was. They didn't get on the pitch, but presumably it was a great experience for the

00:38pair and they are definitely ones to look out for in the future.

00:42I also highlighted Brennan Johnson's brilliant run for Spurs' fourth goal in stoppage time.

00:47When Timo Werner picked up the ball from Jack Grealish's pass, Johnson had four Spurs players

00:52ahead of him, but he immediately sensed the opportunity and made a sprint for the back

00:57post where he turned Werner's cross over the line. His run really emphasised and underlined

01:02Prostokoglou's we-never-stop approach, despite the scoreline and the time on the clock.

01:08It was also a great weekend for Spurs' low knees. Brian Hill scored and got two assists

01:13in a big win for Girona. Dane Scarlett scored again for Oxford. Manon Solomon and Alfie

01:18Devine also got doubles for their loaned clubs.

01:21I also picked out Arnie Slott mentioning Spurs as title contenders. Liverpool, of course,

01:26had eight points clear at the top of the table with their comeback winner Southampton,

01:30but afterwards Slott name-checked Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs as teams to look

01:36out for and said his Liverpool side weren't getting carried away.

01:39Finally, a fun one, I picked out James Madison comparing Ben Davis to Paolo Maldini on Instagram.

01:47Some enterprising Spurs fan mocked up an image of Davis' head on Maldini's body, which was

01:54quickly shared by Madison, who praised Spurs' Mr Reliable after a great display against

02:00City.
