00:26The sister of former SEA Games medalist Ariana Evangelista, who hails from Quezon City, crossed the finish line in 25 minutes and 4.74 seconds,
00:35outclassing rivals from Baguio and Vago cities, who both failed to complete the seven-lap course.
00:41Meanwhile, it was sweeter the second time around for Dabao City's Shaira May Rizalado, who finally won her first gold medal after failing to do it last year.
00:50She clocked 31 minutes and 1.33 seconds in the 14-15 division, which was 56.53 seconds far away from silver medalist Cristel Galinato of La Union and Rian Calimlim of Baguio City.
01:03In Criterium, Isabel Nicole Jamero of Iloilo City is finally a Batang Pinoy champion for her golden act in the 12-13 girls division following the best time of 24.48 seconds.
01:15She beat Lauren Tanop Ormoc City and Joana May Armendez of La Union, who took the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
01:22In the boys 12-13 category, it was a photo finish between Candon City's Ralph DeMalanta and Kurt Hirang of Batangas as they were separated only by a second.
01:32DeMalanta took the gold after registering 23 minutes and 58 seconds, while Hirang settled for the silver at 23 minutes and 59 seconds.
01:41Dave Brasil Harido, General Santos City, got the bronze medal.
