00:09I felt great about it, but the amount of people that text me
00:12were like, so does this mean that you're pregnant?
00:15I was like, no, I can do one real one
00:17and one fake one, people.
00:19So let me just clarify, I am not pregnant again.
00:22I am too tired.
00:23I have three children.
00:25I'm good.
00:27But I am very excited for Maddie.
00:29And I'm excited to show, hopefully,
00:33that this can be a positive experience for her.
00:36I loved doing the postpartum storyline.
00:38I loved showing that.
00:40I suffered from postpartum, so it was important to me
00:43to be able to be a part of that.
00:45But I hope for Maddie this time that we
00:46can see that not every pregnancy goes that way
00:50and that without the effects of COVID
00:52and being separated from her husband and all the things
00:55that she went through before, that we can see maybe
00:58a more positive experience for her this time.

01:01Was it hard for you to step back into that space
01:03in the postpartum space, playing that character,
01:05knowing what you went through?
01:06Well, so it was crazy.
01:08So I was seven months pregnant when
01:10we finished the beginning of the postpartum storyline.
01:13And then I had to come back and finish it right
01:16in the middle of postpartum.
01:18So it was very cathartic for me because I
01:20was able to use a lot of what I was going through with Maddie
01:23when I came back to the show.
01:26But it was also very scary because I was like,
01:28am I awaking more of this in myself?
01:31Am I going to be OK?
01:32So it was really lovely.
01:34I had a lot of people on the crew and the producers
01:37and everything checking on me to make sure
01:40that I wasn't pushing myself too hard into that,
01:42that it was OK.
01:44And I really felt like I was able to give a real glimpse
01:47into what it can look like because I was in it.
01:51So it was my sort of dedication to any women at that time
01:53who were also having that experience.
