00:00Thank you for joining us for the show.
00:04As I said in my opening speech,
00:10this is a historic day in our country
00:15because we are hosting what we call the Festival of Ideas.
00:22It is the first time such a big event has been held in our country, in Malaysia.
00:31The Festival of Ideas might have been held in other countries,
00:35including universities,
00:38but in our context, we are holding it as a state-level event.
00:43It is a very exciting event,
00:47and I did not expect so many people to be there to see it.
00:52With all the programs that we have organized,
00:57we are talking about ideas,
01:00and at the same time, we are hearing stories of success,
01:04how those ideas came about,
01:07and how the stories of success of Malaysian people
01:14who came up with their own ideas,
01:18from the smallest to the biggest,
01:21and the success that was shown to them.
01:23As we can see now,
01:25the sessions that are going on,
01:28including the stories of how the idea of AirAsia came about,
01:33how the idea of AirBnB came about,
01:35how the idea of Aerodyne came about,
01:37which we call the drone,
01:40these are the stories of Malaysian people,
01:43the ideas that came from our country,
01:45which finally reached the international level.
01:50These are the stories that we need to collect,
01:54and we will make this a big program,
01:58a year-long program,
02:00and the Minister has also said that he is ready to make this
02:04as one of the major programs for our country,
02:08because this is where we can bring together people from all walks of life,
02:12not only from the academic community,
02:14but also from the Malaysian people.
02:17One of the programs that has been proposed
02:20over the past three days is
02:23what we call the Bank Idea,
02:28or the Bank of Ideas.
02:31To empower the Malaysian people,
02:34anyone who may have their own ideas,
02:40let's not assume that the idea only came from Minara Gading,
02:44but ordinary people who have a day to see
02:48about a problem,
02:51and they may have good ideas,
02:53how they can help to solve a problem that they are facing.
03:00So we create this Bank Idea
03:03so that they can put those suggestions,
03:06and those suggestions will be shared
03:11to the relevant parties,
03:13especially to the government,
03:16to ensure that those ideas are taken,
03:19if they are received very well
03:22for our development goals,
03:24and to be able to solve various problems.
03:27Because we all believe that
03:31the Bank of Ideas is very important
03:33for a positive change in our lives.
03:38How is the mechanism?
03:40As I have mentioned,
03:43the programs that have been proposed
03:45over the past three days are not only related to seminars,
03:50but we can see, for example,
03:53various programs that have been proposed
03:56to ensure that the people can see
03:59what are the things that are related to it,
04:02including the job opportunities,
04:07as I mentioned earlier,
04:08there are 10,000 job opportunities
04:10that are waiting for the visitors here.
04:14In response to the mechanism,
04:17we have places below
04:21for them to write as usual,
04:25there is no need for people to do it
04:28in a way that is more in accordance with the rules.
04:35No, they just need to write
04:38what they have proposed,
04:40there will be certain places
04:42that they will place for them to provide.
04:45So, the Bank of Ideas
04:47is only for the duration of the festival,
04:50or will there be more people after this?
04:53We will start at this time,
04:56and after that, we will see
04:59how the process can be carried out
05:01over time,
05:02but we make it one of the attractions
05:06for this festival.
05:08Is it only for the visitors here?
05:10Yes, for those who come,
05:12for now we will continue here,
05:14and I believe after this
05:16we will see what mechanism we can do
05:19to get the views of our people.
05:24So, they just need to write,
05:26what if they say,
05:28there is a digital website?
05:30Yes, there is a digital website,
05:32we will make it public.
05:34So, the Bank of Ideas has already been established?
05:36Yes, it has already been established,
05:38we will launch it.
