Inalis muna ng Armed Forces of the Philippines ang kanilang mga tauhan na bahagi ng security ni Vice President Sara Duterte. Kabilang sa kanila, ang pinuno mismo ng Vice Presidential Security Group na nanulak ng isang pulis sa gitna ng gulo sa paglilipat sa ospital ng chief of staff ng OVP.

00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines first released Vice President Sara Duterte's security personnel.

00:07Among them was the head of the Vice Presidential Security Group,

00:12who was pushed by a police officer in the middle of a riot in the hospital of the Chief of Staff of the OVP.

00:18Chino Gaston was arrested.

00:20We received a subpoena from the Philippine National Police.

00:48The members of the DPSPG will investigate.

00:53We still do not know the specifics of the case or the investigation.

01:02But because they already have a subpoena,

01:06it means to say that they cannot fulfill their duty to protect and secure the Vice President.

01:14That is why we are temporarily pulling them out, replacing them.

01:19They still have security composed of Philippine National Police members and AFP.

01:26Along with those who left the DPSPG,

01:29Colonel Raymond Lachica, the head of the DPSPG,

01:33who was pushed by Lieutenant Colonel Van Jason Villamor,

01:42and the security personnel of the Vice Presidential Security Group,

01:4525 police officers were replaced by the Vice Presidential Protection and Security Group of the DPSPG.

01:53According to the AFP, even though it is the right of anyone to have an opinion on politics,

01:58this statement, even if it is a complaint against the government,

02:02is a freedom that a soldier cannot do while he remains in the service.

02:08I reminded them of the vow that we took.

02:12If we will do what the other armed forces of the Philippines want,

02:31When VP Sara sat down in 2022,

02:33more than 400 of his security details came from AFP and PNP.

02:38Many of these became the security of his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, when he was still in office.

02:44In July of this year, 75 police officers were removed from the security of the Vice Presidential Security Group,

02:49which was his right.

02:51But according to the PNP, the police in Metro Manila need them.

02:55Some of them returned after Senator Bato de la Rosa talked to PNP Chief Romel Marbil

03:02in a hearing in the Senate.

03:04As of now, there are still 350 assigned to the VPSPG.

03:09In Davao City, 65 police officers were reassigned and brought to various provinces in Luzon.

03:16According to the PRO11, these police officers were investigated

03:20for alleged police drug operations and questionable entries in a police blotter.
