अंबेडकर नगर – सपा अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने मोदी और योगी पर जमकर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि कोई समाज में नफरत फैलाकर दिल्ली पहुंचा है और अब लखनऊ वाले भी उसी रास्ते पर चल रहे हैं। ये दिल्ली और लखनऊ की लड़ाई है जिसमें जनता पिस रही है। अखिलेश यादव ने उपचुनाव के नतीजों को लेकर कहा कि सातों की सातों सीटें समाजवादी पार्टी जीती है और बीजेपी ने सिर्फ दो सीट जीती है लेकिन प्रशासन ने सर्टिफिकेट किसी और को दिया है। उन्होंने उपचुनाव में धांधली के मुद्दे पर कहा कि मैं भारतीय जनता पार्टी का धन्यवाद देता हूं कि आपने जो कोचिंग दी हम लोगों को इस चुनाव में, पूरा प्रशासन आगे करके, बेईमानी करके। कटेहरी के चुनाव पर अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि कटेहरी का चुनाव समाजवादियों का जीता हुआ चुनाव था। बीजेपी जब हार गई तो उसने अपने कार्यकर्ताओं को पीछे कर दिया और जिला प्रशासन से लेकर जो कुछ कर सकते थे, वह सब किया।
