00:00what the research found initially was that of the people who planned meetings,
00:06more than a third, and probably I'm one of the guilty ones, you know, very near the moment of
00:13the planned meeting, they cancelled. So over a third of people cancelled those long-term planned
00:18meetings. And when you dug into it, what you found was that there were a lot of reasons, but,
00:24you know, they get down to the fact that they're quite staged. And so compare that to the impromptu
00:31stuff, where you might be out shopping, you might be walking the dog, you bump into somebody you
00:35haven't seen for a while, and then you just go, oh, let's go for a quick coffee, cup of tea.
00:41More people did that, which is really interesting, because I think they found it was,
00:45you know, it was almost like a moment of unexpected delight. I wasn't expecting this,
00:49let's go and roll with it. The fact that you can control that situation more. So you can say,
00:53look, I've got 20 minutes, I can get out. Whereas, you know, when you plan it,
00:56I think people expect you to be there for a certain amount of time.
