00:00Two people were injured while 500 families were affected by the fire in Santa Cruz, Manila last night.

00:05A facility of Manila City Jail is about to collapse, so hundreds of inmates were evacuated.

00:17This is how big the fire is that the firefighters are trying to extinguish in the area of Barangay 310 in Santa Cruz, Manila.

00:24The fire started last night at 9 p.m. and it was quickly extinguished by five alarms.

00:29This means that the firefighters will not be able to get out of the 20 trucks that need to be responded to.

00:34The residents carried their belongings one by one.

00:38Others were not saved except for the images of San Tonino and Nazareno.

00:43Some were the first to be saved, their pets.

00:46According to the barangay, they were surprised because the fire started quickly

00:52in the third floor of a residential building in the playground compound.

01:01It started from our house in Bungad near Barangay 310 and we were brought to the LRC.

01:09The fire also spread near the facility of Manila City Jail.

01:13Some of the persons deprived of liberty who were confined here were evacuated.

01:18According to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penalty, they were immediately transferred to another part of the city jail, the Daang Daang PDL.

01:25The Manila City Jail was not affected by the fire, said the Bureau of Fire Protection, but it was also inserted to pump water.

01:55One senior citizen was burned in different parts of the body.
