00:07You're one of the funniest women. How do opposing sides have dinner?

00:18Any advice?

00:20I guess we have to remember that we all really basically want the same thing.

00:27I just hope that during the holidays in particular,

00:32people think about people that aren't necessarily just in their own little sphere.

00:38They think about people that they don't know.

00:40People in their community or people in another state.

00:44People who are fellow Americans.

00:46People who don't live the same kind of lives they have and don't have what they have.

00:52Do you bring it up if you have opposing views?

00:56I would have a hard time having dinner with relatives who have opposing views.

01:01I would have to call them out on it.

01:04Yeah, you would bring it up.

01:05But I know that that's not probably very productive.

01:09But isn't the goal to have a conversation?

01:13Yes, but I'm not sure holiday dinner is the best time to do that.

01:18Yeah, but is that when you see your family?

01:21I just think we all need to remember that we need to care about people that we don't necessarily know.

01:28These people here, they have lives and thoughts and feelings.

01:35You meet them and you look at their faces.

01:38You don't think of them as just a statistic anymore.

01:42And that's important.

01:48Any advice for people that are going to dinner that have opposing views?
