00:00More than half a million pesos was stolen from a grocery store in Manila by a former employee.

00:06The money was returned to him, but it was reduced because it was deposited in an online casino.

00:20You would think that this man is an employee who went out from a closed grocery store in Tondo, Manila.

00:27But the man was stolen by the police.

00:32The paper bag he was holding contained more than half a million pesos that he stole from the vault of the grocery store.

00:41Based on the investigation, the suspect wore a uniform and sneaked into the store.

00:47He went to the back and hid in a trash bag.

00:53When no one was there, the store was already closed.

00:55He started to steal from there until he got the tools.

01:02It was also checked that he saw the key of the vault, so he easily opened it and stole the contents of the vault.

01:10The next day, the employees found out what happened.

01:14Based on the backtracking and investigation of the police, the suspect was identified as the former employee of the grocery store.

01:23Accordingly, he was removed because he also had problems with the money he was holding.

01:35In a follow-up operation, he was stopped by the police in his house in Lualhati Street, Tondo.

01:42He was able to get his money back, but it was reduced.

01:45The suspect was able to deposit it in an online casino, according to the police.

01:54When we checked his transaction, he deposited P25,000, P19,000.

02:05The suspect was also able to get the black box of the CCTV inside the store and some tools that he also stole inside the grocery store.

02:13As of now, the suspect is under the custody of the MPD and is facing a robbery complaint.
