Severe flooding is affecting six states namely Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Perlis, Johor and Perak.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Nov 28) that Kelantan is bearing the brunt of the disaster with a staggering 30,582 individuals from 9,223 families directly affected, making it the state with the highest number of flood victims.
