00:00Hi, I'm Steve. I'm the creative director at Pixel Maniacs, and here's a little something about Chromagun 2
00:10Jumping straight into the game here. So right off the bat we can see
00:16So this is this is a worker droid and this is a paintable wall tile
00:21so we we skipped ahead a few levels here because
00:25We we don't want to bore you with the with the nitty-gritty getting to know the game, but
00:31The the idea is you paint worker droids
00:35and they're attracted to walls that have the same color and
00:40So this one I painted he's red and I paint him yellow
00:43So red and yellow is orange and he's attracted to walls of the same color
00:47Which is orange and then he's dragged onto this thing and this thing opens the door
00:52So that's the that's the whole idea of the game so
00:59Press all these buttons here get all these droids
01:02If I paint the blue one yellow
01:05Comes green turn to paint the red one yellow
01:10Paint the yellow and yellow
01:12Nothing happens because he's already
01:15So
01:20We're gonna jump ahead
01:23to the end of chapter 1
01:26So you still start out with the yellow Chromagun, which is to you know
01:31Make sure that players who didn't play Chromagun, which there are plenty of
01:35Should you know, we want them to be to be at home. You know, you want you want them to we don't want to alienate them
01:41by by
01:42Just pretending they they know how to play Chromagun. That's not the case
01:46I was able to turn on the main power from here, but you'll have to manually activate the transuniversal matter
01:52Just you know what? I'll just call it the portal
01:57Yeah, but still we want to we want to of course
02:01Continue the what a little story we had from Chromagun 1 and
02:05Greatly greatly expand on this
02:07so the story of Chromagun 2 is you at the end of
02:12Chromagun 1 at the beginning of Chromagun 2 you accidentally break the tricolored Chromagun and
02:19Richard which is the omniscient narrator here
02:22He's pretty mad at that and he wants to keep testing with you
02:27obviously because that's what that's what he does and
02:31And
02:34They don't have Chromatech the company that built the Chromagun they don't have the funds to build a new
02:39Chromagun, but fortunately what they do have
02:43You're not even gonna try the doors
02:45All the same that way. I don't even have to pretend. I know how to open them
02:51What they do have is a portal to another universe
02:56There's a stairwell nearby at the top. There should be a vent looping back to the portal lab
03:03I'm gonna just run through this because obviously I know how to solve it already
03:08so they do have this portal to a parallel universe and
03:13So to keep on testing he wants me to
03:17Go to another universe and steal that universe's tricolored Chromagun
