00:38I was shocked and this situation caused me a lot of fear, because at first I did not know how it could happen to me and where it came from.
00:51It turns out that the smallest dose of trimethazidin in history was detected in the sample, and this is a substance that I heard about for the first time in my life and I did not even know that it existed, with which I never had contact, nor did the people around me have contact with it.
01:13So there was a great sense of injustice and the first weeks were very chaotic.
01:23We immediately began to react and proceed according to what the ITIA told us.
01:33This ageing, which is very small, suggested that either the sample was contaminated or the supplement or the drug that I take was contaminated, so we focused on examining all the supplements and drugs that I take.
01:57As a result of these tests, it turned out that the melatonin, which I have been using for a long time, that this series that I had with me before the tournament in Cincinnati, was contaminated.
02:12It was a huge shock for us, but on the other hand, it was also an answer to many questions, because finding a source in such situations is the most important thing.
02:24Therefore, after finding the source, we had to prove that this drug was actually contaminated, and melatonin is a drug that is essential to me, due to travel, jet lag, stress related to my work, and without it, sometimes I would not be able to sleep and I would definitely have trouble sleeping.
02:51Therefore, after finding the source, it took time for this situation to end, which is happening now.
03:03However, since September 12, I was automatically suspended, so I could not play tournaments in Asia and I could not defend my ranking, although it is known that this is a consequence of this situation, but certainly not the most important thing, because the most important thing for me was to prove my innocence.
03:27But now, when this situation is over, a symbolic suspension has been imposed on me, which lasts for a month, 22 days, I already have 8 days ahead of me, so next season I will be able to start with a clean sheet and focus on what I always did, i.e. just playing tennis.
03:58And I think that this experience is the most difficult in my life, but it taught me a lot, especially that I was able to return to the game so quickly, play WTA Finals, Beijing King Cup, which gave me a lot of positive emotions and again made me a little happy with the game.
04:21For sure, this is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life and it required a lot of strength, this return to training after this whole situation broke my heart.
04:36So there was a lot of crying, a lot of sleepless nights, the worst was generally uncertainty, I did not know what would happen to my career and I did not know how this situation would end and whether I would be able to play tennis for the next time.
04:58That is why I am grateful to my family and my team, to the people who stay with me, regardless of what happened. From the beginning, everyone was going to help me, to find a source and I will always be very grateful for that.
05:20And I must admit that this situation hurts me a lot, because all my life I wanted to have a career, for example, in the next generation, which will be fair, which will show that I have always been fair and show all the values that a top athlete should have.
05:45And I have the impression that this situation can affect this image that I have been building for years. That is why I hope that you will understand what happened, you will understand how much I did not have control over it and that I could not do anything to prevent this unfortunate situation that happened to me.
