00:00You know, I'm on the field, I got a call and I know I took a timeout earlier in that, was
00:13it same drive?
00:14Yeah, same drive, I know I took a timeout earlier and so, you know, I can take timeouts
00:23but in that situation we had a call, I got the call in and, you know, trying to get the
00:27guys back, so focused on making sure everybody gets back, gets lined up, I know we don't
00:32have much time left and so trying to get everybody back, you know, we don't really have, I don't
00:38have a microphone to speak to coach or anything like that so there wasn't like any huge communication
00:43in that situation, you get a call with that time, you got to, you know, you got to try
00:47and get the guys back.
00:48You know, I made an adjustment because I saw the clock running down knowing that if we
00:53complete a ball in, you know, inbounds or anything like that we won't have time to kick
00:57a field goal or anything like that so, you know, I made adjustment and New Rome was either
01:04going to be 1-on-1 or he was going to, you know, beat the safety and be 1-on-1 there
01:08and, you know, I tried to give him a shot and we got the shot and missed.
01:12In that situation, you know, I'm living with the call, you know, and I'll let, you know,
01:18the coaches and everybody, you know, make that decision, you know, depending on whether
01:23it's time, depending on whether it's, you know, the guys running back and, you know,
01:27they're far down the field.
01:28Whatever that situation is, that's going to be coach's call, maybe in the later years
01:34of my career but right now, you know, I get the call, I'm trying to lead the guys to win
01:39and I'm trying to get everybody lined up and, you know, from there I'm trying to make a
01:43play for, you know, for the Chicago Bears.
