00:00Yeah, so we're here as part of the St John National Drive-a-Thon.
00:08We're driving across all of Australia.
00:11We're training 5,000 people in CPR.
00:14We've been donating defibrillators in communities in need and raising awareness of the importance
00:20of First Aid.
00:21So we just pull the bottom jaw down and have a look to make sure their airway is clear.
00:28If it's not, we will roll them into recovery and scoop that out.
00:31And then we're going to check for breathing.
00:33So if they're not breathing, we go straight into CPR.
00:35So 30 compressions to two breaths.
00:42Okay.
00:43So you can put these on while the person is doing CPR.
00:49So what we do is we just clear for that moment, it analyses, and then we start back on CPR
00:56as soon as it tells us.
00:57So we've got a defib that we're actually going to donate this afternoon to the local
01:00Tamworth community.
01:01We're going to put it on the side of our St John Hall up there.
01:04So it's going to be available for the people above us, which is the croquet clock.
01:08It's also going to be available for the people in Anzac Park and anyone around these
01:12Tamworth areas.
01:21The last thing you want to do is have someone go down in front of you and you're standing
01:26there going, I don't know what to do.
01:28If nothing else comes out of today, if you remember to get down there and someone's not
01:33breathing and you get on that chest and pump that, and if you know there's a defib close
01:37by and you can get that on, we've done our work.
