01:37Senator Gingo Estrada

01:40recently complained of flying voters

01:43in San Juan City.

01:45COMELEC said they are already looking into it.

01:50they will conduct a preliminary investigation

01:52and call the barangay officials.

01:55They can face criminal charges.

01:57COMELEC will consult with the Department of Interior

02:01and local government

02:02for possible administrative cases.

02:05According to DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia,

02:08they can investigate this matter.

02:11If voters flocked to some places in the country,

02:14abroad, COMELEC is not happy

02:16that only 1.2 million people registered.

02:19It's very low.

02:20Maybe because of midterm elections,

02:22the limit is increasing

02:24when it comes to presidential and vice presidential elections.

02:27So we expect it to increase in 2028.

02:30In places where other citizenships apply,

02:35the number of registered voters is low.
