00:22in Kinaing, Pawikan, in Dato Blas in Suat, Maguindanao del Norte.

03:03So when the two winds combine at different temperatures,

03:07we will have clouds that are almost like a line when we look at our satellite imagery.

03:13That's what we call a shear line.

03:15Normally, the shear line affects our country in the months of November to February.

03:21And where this ends, it will start in the northernmost part of our country,

03:26here in Batanes.

03:28And then it will slowly go down towards the eastern section of the southern zone,

03:33this is the Bicol region.

03:35Sometimes, it will reach the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao.

03:38But is it normal for the cold and hot winds to collide at this time?

03:46That's right.

03:48The cold and hot winds are cold, cold and dry.

03:51And then the easterlies, the hot winds, are warm and humid by nature.
