Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning Reflects on Rivalry Win
Transcript
00:00That was a fun one.
00:04I'm really excited, more than anything, for those 31 seniors that we got to recognize
00:08before the game started.
00:09They worked so hard.
00:10Some of them have been here since the day we got here, so for them to be able to enjoy
00:15a moment like that after hard work really excites me and certainly excites our team.
00:20I'm proud of our fans and I thought they showed up and certainly made an impact.
00:25You come to Oregon to play in games and moments like that and what we've created so far this
00:29season is really special, but obviously there's still some things ahead of us.
00:33Certainly excited to see all of our fans show up in India and make an impact there as well.
00:37Also a record-setting night for a couple of guys.
00:40Terrence Ferguson tying the touchdown record, or excuse me, tying or beating?
00:44I don't know.
00:46He set records tonight.
00:47He also has a ton of receptions and I think he leads all tie-ins and receptions here at
00:52Oregon and then the opportunity for our defense to have 10 sacks tonight and tie a school
00:57record there is pretty awesome.
00:59Start right here on the left with Brian, front left.
01:02Dan, 10 sacks tonight, tying a program record.
01:04What can you say about just the havoc this defense has been able to cause all season?
01:08Yeah, really coming into the game, we didn't think we'd have that many opportunities to
01:11be able to actually rush the pass or anticipate some screen game and runs to maybe limit the
01:17opportunities to be able to do it.
01:18We talked about taking advantage of the moments we did get and I think once the score became
01:22kind of one-sided, I think that created more opportunities for us, so I'm proud of those
01:26guys taking advantage of those opportunities.
01:27All right, Zach.
