00:00This place is like an Aladdin's cave and it's so full of archived material which is a legacy of
00:06the local town and the local area. The Heritage Centre here has been around for 20 years. We've
00:10been in this particular building and there's a lot of things going on here. So we've got,
00:15for instance, we've got the shop here, we have a small museum, we've got a meeting room upstairs,
00:21we also have lovely gardens outside. About a year ago we found ourselves with dry rot in the
00:29building and some roof issues as well. So we're in the process of trying to get funding for that
00:36to try and sort it. We don't know how bad it is but the worst possible scenario is that the place
00:42has to close. If this building was to close we would have lost a lot of the history of our town.
00:49It's a very important hub for the community and something that we want to protect for the future
00:55generation. So it is a struggle.
