00:00Because of a loss in Central New York, Miami will not play in

00:12missing the college football playoff because it's hard to
00:16walk into the JMA Dome and come out with a victory even booked
00:21as an eleven and a half point road favorite. Syracuse pulls
00:26off the stunner on Saturday afternoon forty-two thirty-eight
00:31outright as an eleven and a half point underdog. I could
00:35give a **** about my alma mater's basketball program.
00:39They're a football school as long as Fran Brown remains the
00:43head coach leading the Orange to nine wins in his first
00:47season at the helm in the first victory over a top ten team for
00:52SU since 2017. That was Clemson but because of the win
00:58against Miami, Syracuse sends Clemson to the ACC Championship
01:02Game against SMU on Saturday. So, we're saying the nine-win
01:06Orange football team will be more wins than the Cues
01:09basketball team. We'll see how that one plays out here in the
01:11upcoming schedule but in this game itself. Yeah. Cam Ward
01:14three forty-nine. Running 154 yards on the ground. Two wide
01:19receivers. Estrepo 148, Jacoby George 121, they lost. Why?
01:23It's like Miami should just print out like 3D printing of
01:27defensive players and say, we're going to be good. Like
01:29that that side is handled. It's usually the offense that has
01:32the issues. That defense has been so embarrassing this year
01:34that it's a shame and I know you can't transpose teams like
01:37put a top fifteen defense with the Miami Hurricanes. They're
01:40unbeaten right now. Probably the favorites to win in college
01:42football even with the schedule they played but their defense
01:44has been an absolute sieve the entire season which the only
01:48reason they have a ten and two record is of how good Cam Ward
01:52and that offense has been. They were embarrassing in twenty-one
01:55to nothing. That should be game over. Now, I wasn't watching
01:58the game. I was out of the soccer field freezing to death
02:00but I saw the first touchdown come on the board for Syracuse
02:03and I said to myself, I already know how this turns out. Like
02:06twenty-one nothing, get a stop, make it twenty-eight nothing.
02:08That game's probably over at that point but the minute
02:10Syracuse responded to make it twenty-one seven and you just
02:12saw the damn break on that defense where they couldn't get
02:15any stops. Then we come down to the final couple drives where
02:18Jacoby George with a ridiculous personal foul penalty which
02:20forced Miami from a basically a second ago from like the one
02:23all the way back. They couldn't score a touchdown and people
02:26were upset that Mario Cristobal kicked the field goal and I
02:28hear you there but understand this. Touchdown Miami, field
02:32goal Miami. It didn't matter. Syracuse was getting the
02:34football back with enough time. If they even had three plays,
02:37they would have got themselves at least in the field goal
02:38range and you saw that final drive where oh Miami, you have
02:42to go for the touchdown. Syracuse says, you know what?
02:45You know, you're running. We know we're running. You know
02:47we're running. Let's just hand it off and walk down the
02:49football field repeatedly for chunk game after chunk game
02:52after chunk game. That game was over because Miami was never
02:56going to get a stop regardless if Mario Cristobal said on
02:59fourth and ten or fourth and goal, let's go for the
03:02touchdown. That game was a wrap before that play even
03:04happened.
