00:00The No Hunger 2027 Food Stamp Program will be held in several places in Visayas,

00:05especially now, by the Department of Social Welfare and Development,

00:09Brenna Manubagdagoon of IBC 13 in Balitang Pampansa.

00:15Now, the province of Ililo and Antique will be included

00:19in the broader implementation of the No Hunger 2027 Food Stamp Program

00:25of the Administration of President Marcos Jr.

00:28Of the 300,000 families targeted this year,

00:3343,021 are from Western Visayas,

00:3728,124 from Negros Occidental,

00:4110,560 from Ililo,

00:44and 4,337 from Antique.

00:48Even so, it was not immediately targeted

00:51because many families were the first to register

00:55for the Pantawid Pamilang Pilipino Program, or 4Ps, as the solution.

01:00It will be further expanded in Antique and Ililo.

01:04In Negros Occidental, 16,426 families

01:08obtained their EBT card last November 15 of this year.

01:14Each of them will be given an electronic benefit transfer card

01:19that contains P3,000 per month

01:22so that they can use it to buy food from those targeted

01:26by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD,

01:31and the local government.

01:33We have a food basket.

01:3650% are carbohydrates,

01:3930% are protein,

01:43and 20% are fats, oil, and so on.

01:47For example, when it comes to carbohydrates, there's rice.

01:51There's vegetables.

01:53And then for fats, even oil,

01:56it includes fruits, condiments.

02:00It will be exchanged for P3,000

02:04to the partners or accredited retailers

02:08that are registered under the BPLSO,

02:13the Permits and Licenses Office of the local government.

02:19The DSWD will also continue to validate

02:21other beneficiaries

02:23so that it is not certain

02:25that a family member will be doubled

02:27in the programs of the government

02:29when there are more families

02:31who can be helped.
