00:00Organisers of the 3rd annual Stegnus Toy Drive say they are thrilled with the response so
00:07far to this year's appeal, but there is still time to make a donation. The toys will be
00:13distributed to children supported by the Storehouse Food Bank and those who unfortunately will
00:19be spending Christmas and Christmastime. One of the organisers, Brad Johnson, tells us
00:25more.
00:27We're hosting again the annual toy drive at the Hideout Café and Bar in Stegnus. We're
00:31collecting until this coming Sunday which is the 8th of December and the toys collected
00:36this year will be going to the Children's Ward at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston and the
00:40Food Bank at the Storehouse in Stegnus. Come and join us at 9am on Sunday as we pack up
00:46all the toys, load up the van and deliver them to these amazing causes. If you'd like
00:50to drop off any toys between now and then during the day, head to the Hideout Café
00:54and Bar in Compass Gardens during the day and one of the team will be happy to take
00:58the toys. If they can be new and sealed, but books can be in good condition and used, anything
01:04you can give will be great and we can't wait to pass these on to these amazing causes.
01:08Thank you so much for supporting us for a third year and we really can't wait to share
01:12these toys with these deserving children in our community.
