00:17The commission waited, as the country knows, as a result of the fact that the tax reform was not approved.

00:26It was reformulated again through an agenda that the Executive sent.

00:32And today, then, we proceed to take the report that the commission made last week,

00:41after having exhausted the procedure of meeting with the different officials,

00:47including the Minister of Finance, the Deputy Minister, who is the Director of Budget.

00:53And after this, we have no choice but to take this piece and submit it to the Senate of the Republic.

01:01Because I understand that they could meet this week to meet.

01:06We are going to send it to the Senate today, because the Commission of Senators and Deputies has already studied it exhaustively.

01:15And the only thing we have to do is try to get the country, with the circumstances it has,

01:22to be able to execute this important piece of more than 1,700,000,000 pesos,

01:35which bring solutions to very important problems, such as, for example, the problem of the Monorail of Santiago,

01:44which also today we approved a piece related to it,

01:48such as the start of important works in terms of transportation in the province of Santo Domingo and the National District,

01:55which everyone knows is a fundamental problem that we have in the capital,

02:02as well as the realization and completion of important works,

02:07Autopista Duarte, the other part of the subway, and all those works that the country is demanding.

02:13The country is in good hands, it is on the right track, and President Luis Abinadel,

02:18now with the approved budget, will know how to handle it correctly to provide the solution.

02:25The opposition deputies complain that there are pyrrhic quantities and that they were overshadowed by the officialism.

02:34Look, in this process of a vote, we go with all the democracy, but in the end, what decides is the majority of votes.

02:49And indeed, the Dominican people gave the PRM the opportunity to have the number of votes it has.

02:57We, even so, today, if you look at the approval of the budget, there were 11 shifts, only 3 were from the PRM.
