00:00Now, on the NFC side, it is the two teams at the top that we have discussed, the Lions
00:09and the Eagles, plus 140 Lions, plus 240 Eagles, with the Packers being the third choice at
00:15seven to one and the Vikings at nine, everyone else pretty far out at 25 to one.
00:21Look, I'm telling you, I hate to say it and I, you know, I know any part of it, but it's
00:27reality to me that I understand why it's the Lions, but I think the team to beat is the
00:34Eagles.
00:35I think they're actually better than the Lions this year on both sides of the ball.
00:42And I think the Lions are incredible and they've had some incredible games.
00:46They've also had some stinkers and you cannot afford to have a stinker in the playoffs.
00:53You get in a tight game.
00:55It's like we said yesterday, Philadelphia could, you know, Mafia said, bring them down
00:59to their level and turn it into a fistfight and turn it into a smash mouth football game.
01:06And I think they're better on both sides of the ball.
01:11I really do.
01:13Then that high flying highfalutin offense.
01:15That's all about, you know, we're going to score 50 points today.
01:19That's not happening in the playoffs.
01:21It's not happening.
01:22We saw that team go into the NFC championship and absolutely melt down like an ice cream
01:28cone in the second half of one of the greatest performances I ever saw in the first half
01:32of my life.
01:33And then they never did another thing the entire day.
01:36I think the Eagles are the dangerous team in this mix.
01:39I don't think any other team that they have there, I have a problem with those odds.
01:44I don't, you know, frankly, have at it because this is the way the odds are going to look
01:48the rest of the way anyway.
01:50And I'm scared that the Steelers have to go to the link in a couple weeks and play
01:54the Eagles.
01:55I think that's a loss.
01:56Yeah, look, I think that they have the two teams at the top or the two teams that you're
02:01going to see at the end.
02:04I really do.
02:05I know that some feel that maybe the Packers, I don't think the Packers are on the same
02:10level as those two teams.
02:12I really don't.
02:13I think they're just a notch below the Lions and the Eagles.
02:16And look, the Lions do do some things that come playoff time are good.
02:21You know, they do have two running backs.
02:23They play some Smash Mouth.
02:24We saw them go in to Green Bay on the road a month or two ago, whenever that was and
02:29smash the Packers out on their field.
02:31So I, you know, it would be different going to Philly.
02:36I think they are going to beat him again this week, which is where we're going to go to
02:41right now.
02:42To start week number 14 is the Lions and the Packers in Detroit on Thursday night football.
02:48Real good Thursday night game this week.
02:50And we will start by hearing from Dan Campbell.
02:52It is the best time of the year, not just because it's Christmas time, but because we're
02:59coming down the stretch and the best are separating from the worst.
03:02You know, you're you're always your head, your head's down, you know, and you just you're
03:06going and players are no different, man.
03:10You just you worry about what's right in front of you and you just, you know, and you start
03:15going, you start going.
03:16And I think once you hit December, it's hard not to start to begin to look up a little
03:20bit.
03:21And I mean that in a good way.
03:22Like you can start to smell the playoffs a little bit.
03:24You can start to see what's out in front of you.
03:26What's at stake?
03:28You know, you're well within the race.
03:31And I think it just gives you a little bit of, I don't know, man, excitement.
03:36Yeah.
03:37You know, it is what it is.
03:40You know, frankly, what week isn't exciting in the NFL?
03:43I mean, it's an 18 week march.
03:46I think the only thing I don't like about it is all the buys that go all the way to
03:50week 14.
03:51But then they they go and, you know, square things back up, then the rest of the way.
03:55And then they start playing these Saturday games and these, you know, I don't mind the
04:01doubleheader Monday night games of the season, but I think the season is the I think the
04:07popularity of it is because of its tightness.
04:10You know, it's 18 weeks.
04:12It's none of this six months, seven months, eight months.
04:15Like I mean, honestly, the NBA goes to July.
04:20The NHL goes to mid-June.
04:24Baseball goes till November.
04:27And it starts the last few days of March.
04:29It's embarrassing.
04:31It never ends like it bleeds into each other so much that you're just like I told you watching
04:35a baseball game now has become heroin.
04:37You're just out cold within three innings.
04:40The NFL.
04:42Let's see somebody fall asleep watching the NFL or the Red Zone channel on Sundays.
04:46It's impossible.
04:47Like I watch every game from one o'clock until I'm passed out.
04:51It's that simple.
