00:00It's awesome, honestly, it's the first time here, obviously with Nasser, a long-time friend
00:12and a big, very passionate enthusiast of the puddle and tennis, and of course with Paris
00:18Saint-Germain, football, and he's so involved with sports on a global level, and we always
00:23talked about playing puddle together, but it was never kind of a, we didn't find a moment,
00:28but here it is, today, first time I played some puddle with him, and he's really good,
00:33and of course with Badr, His Excellency, and it's a lot of fun, you know, you have legends
00:38like Jose Lu, of the football world, you know, Verdasco, my friend, a fellow tennis player,
00:46this is what makes this place so special, you know, I guess the intertwining between
00:51so many different fields, successful players, and people that excel in their fields, whether
00:57it's sports, or business, entrepreneurship, so it's lovely, obviously F1 weekend in Qatar,
01:04the whole world's eyes is directed to Doha, and it's a pleasure to be here.
01:09You know, as strange as it sounds, but I've never witnessed the F1 live, actually, because
01:15I live in Monaco, and you know, I kind of always go out from Monaco when there's race
01:21happening, it's so loud, but actually, truth to be told, I'm always in Paris for Roland
01:26Garros at that time, when there's Monaco Grand Prix, but I was there once, and it was
01:32so loud that I had to go out, and it was kind of difficult to see as well, but I guess,
01:39you know, I'm actually very interested, I love F1, of course, I've been a fan of all
01:43the guys, you know, Michael Schumacher, of course, at the time when he was dominating,
01:49and Lewis Hamilton, friends with George Russell, you know, and all the guys like Carlos Sainz
01:55and Pierre Gasly, all the guys, so I follow, of course, like most of the sports world,
02:00we follow each other constantly on a global level, so this is going to be the first time
02:06I'm going to be actually witnessing, hopefully also if I get a chance to enter the garage
02:12and see how they prepare, this is, I guess, the unique experience, you know, to really
02:17see, you know, what's behind the stage, what's happening behind the curtain that people don't
02:23normally see, that's what I, as an athlete, appreciate a lot, you know, the way they prepare
02:28mentally for the race, because, you know, you're putting your life on the line every
02:31single time you're entering the car, so this is something that, you know, it's very intriguing
02:37to me to know how they deal with that pressure, you know, I actually talked with a couple
02:40of guys about it, and sport in general has, I mean, F1 has reached incredible levels of
02:49popularity now, I think they've, as a brand, doing an amazing job, and I think overall
02:55tennis, F1, football, all the global sports have improved so much, whether it's technology,
03:02skills, the know-how, the way you prepare, the way you recover, so kind of a multidisciplinary
03:07approach is something very interesting to me to learn from other sports, and maybe there's
03:12some elements that I can implement in my own career that can help me, you know, perform
03:16better.
03:17So the challenges of 2025?
03:18I do, I do, I think, you know, 2024, from an achievement standpoint, was all about the
03:26Olympic gold medal in Paris, you know, that was the main goal from the beginning of the
03:29year, I didn't have such a great season comparing to maybe some previous years in terms of,
03:34you know, maybe Grand Slam success or other tournaments, and I've, you know, struggled
03:40with injuries and had the surgery of my knee after Roland Garros, but managed to recover
03:47and play finals in Wimbledon and win Olympics, so that was probably the best part of the
03:50year, and I'm looking forward to it, you know, I'm feeling inspired, again, to go out on
03:58the court and motivated, I'm doing my best to prepare myself the best possible way, I
04:03have, you know, more time than usual, you know, we have kind of very short off-seasons,
04:08but this time I ended my season quite early, so I had time to rest and recover, and then,
04:14you know, I'm in the training process, and, you know, Padre gets me going, so I'm looking
04:20forward to a competition, you know, I feel like I can still go strong with young guys,
04:24obviously, Senna and Alcaraz are leading the way, but I feel like when I'm prepared, when
04:30I'm top of my game, I can challenge them, and I look forward to see, you know, how far
04:35I can go next year, should be exciting, obviously, always priorities are the slams, the majors,
04:41and then we'll see how it goes.
05:05Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go,
