00:03the two fur babies are helping to implement the tight security in the airport.

00:13their people are ready to welcome the passengers this Christmas and the feast of St. Luke's Day.

00:23Not only will the staff welcome the passengers at Mactan-Cebu International Airport,
00:35but also these two dogs,
00:41Corgi, who is the boss,
00:43and Lorenzo, who is a Jack Russell Terrier.
00:46Both help in inspecting the luggage of the passengers.
00:51Well, these dogs actually are working dogs.
00:53They sniff for explosives or narcotics.
00:57So, they're not ordinary dogs.
00:59They're just perfectorial, functioning dogs?
01:02Yes.
01:03Along with the Christmas tree lighting of the airport,
01:07the management assured that they are ready for more volume of arrivals.
01:11Based on their statistics,
01:13the number of passengers increases by 20% every month of December.
01:19You know, at MCIA, we're always prepared.
01:22So, we are making sure that we have deployed extra people
01:26in terms of security, in terms of customer service,
01:31to help, given the expected influx,
01:35extra large influx of people that we are expecting,
01:40not only for Christmas and New Year,
01:43but also for St. Luke's Day.
