00:20the top 10 artists in the world and there's some surprises. The top song streamed around

00:26the world this year was Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter but she is not in the top 10 for

00:33artists streamed around the world this year despite also having the number 3 most listened

00:38to album on Spotify in 2024. So yeah, the top artist for 2024 was once again Taylor

00:44Swift so that's the second year in a row. She was followed by The Weeknd in second place

00:49while Bad Bunny, the reggaeton artist, was in third place. Drake was in fourth and rounding

00:55out the top 5 was Billie Eilish but there's still more in the top 10 so there was Travis

01:01Scott was number 6, the Mexican singer Peso Pluma was number 7, Kanye West was still in

01:10the top 10 at 8 and then Ariana Grande was 9 and Fade, another Latin artist, was at number

01:1810. But what was the most popular song in the UK in 2024? Well, a bit of a surprise
