Foldies: Manchester’s new sandwich shop

00:00just got a free sandwich now i got this sandwich from foldies which is a new venture by the team

00:05behind brewski in charlton where their goal is to create really really good elevated comfort food

00:10we're talking stuff like poutine burgers burritos as well as cocktails and hard shakes and foldies

00:16is their new sandwich shop essentially we're looking at little folded pieces of bread stuffed

00:22full of really great exciting range of awesome fillings i've got mine i'm gonna go back to the

00:28office and give it a try so this promotion was because foldies has just opened they put out a

00:33post on instagram saying that they were giving out free sandwiches to anyone who went to their

00:37website and pre-ordered one they had a couple of options a comfy duck and chorizo which is what i

00:41went with a lamb meatball hot honey pork and undo you and mortadella and pistachio pesto and you can

00:47immediately see the quality of the filling so i'm gonna tuck in hold on i need a napkin

01:04that is remarkably nice you really get a taste of the duck it's not often that i have duck

01:09really and usually when you do it's sort of chinese that's amazing the flavor of the duck

01:14the meat itself comes to really nicely the chorizos there the little bit of salad helps

01:18give it some sort of crispness and and freshness too it's really nice it's really nice

01:31doing what they've done over yesterday and today and giving away sandwiches for free

01:34to get people to try the food and sort of give them a positive idea of the business in the first

01:38place is well clearly it's it's worked so i'm gonna continue eating the rest of this i'm gonna

01:45go and i'm gonna say i can pretty confidently recommend foldies as a quick easy lunch option

01:52if you're around the center of manchester it's well worth a go so that's my experience of foldies
