00:00Roughly a third of the season down so far. It's never too early to talk about some of those seasonal awards. And we start with the Hart Trophy, which is basically the MVP of the NHL. Do you have a guy that's in the lead, but also a couple players that we might be taking a look at who could have value in these markets?
00:19Yeah, absolutely. You know, I'll start with Kirill Kaprizov. It's easy to sit here and say, you know, you got Conor McDavid, you got Leon Dreisettl. But Kaprizov, I mean, the overtime winner last night, he's tied for the League League in points of 39 in 24 games. A league-high 1.63 points per game. He's tied for third in goals 16, 13 even strength goals or one back of Leon Dreisettl for the league lead.
00:42And you look at his 5-5 production, second in the NHL in points at 5-5 with 22. He's hit the score sheet and actually only failed to hit the score sheet four times in 24 games this season, which is remarkable. 13 multipoint games. He's knocking the door of winning this award before.
01:00You look at year number two, 47 goals, 108 points in 2021-2022. 46 goals and 96 points in 75 games last year. Missed a little bit of time. That's when the Wilds struggled. They didn't make the playoffs. And this year, they're first in the NHL, 17-4-4, 38 points. Matt Zuccarello's missed time. Joel Eriksson-Ek is missed time. So, Kirill, the thrill. Dalla Dalla Bill Kaprizov, what they call him in Minnesota. He's off to a fantastic start this season.
01:27A couple of long shot players to keep your eye on. Jack Hughes is playing really good hockey lately. Three goals and eight points in his last three games. 33 points in 28 games. His Devils are off to a really good start as well. 36 points tied with the Capitals. Mentioned them earlier atop the Metro Division. And then you have Connor Hellebuyck. We'll get into him. I saw the graphic there in terms of him winning the Vesna.
01:47We've only seen two goalies win the heart since 2000. Both Montreal Canadiens and Cary Price and Jose Theodore. But Connor Hellebuyck and the Jets are playing really good hockey at the moment as well. The Jets, 36 points. And for Hellebuyck, he's among the leaders in wins and save percentage and shutouts.
