00:12Alright, so I heard you've been in Japan for 25 years.

00:15But originally, where were you here in the Philippines?

00:18Yes, Tubong, Bulacan.

00:20Tubong, Bulacan. So welcome back here in the Philippines.

00:24How was your short vacation or stay here?

00:27Yes, it was a short vacation. I really missed the Philippines.

00:32It's still nice to come back here in our home.

00:35But yesterday, you just received an award.

00:38This is also your profession as a singer. Tell us about that award.

00:42I am very thankful for the award given to me by ASEAN,

00:49Most Outstanding Achievement in Performing Arts.

00:52Congratulations!

00:56And thank you to God.

00:58I see your happiness.

00:59You've also joined various competitions.

01:03What were the competitions that you participated in?

01:06I joined the 2013 WICOPA,

01:09which is the World Championship of Performing Arts,

01:13in Los Angeles, California.

01:16And then, I was one of those who fought in Japan,

01:19but I represented the country of the Philippines.

01:24And it's an honor for me that I was given a gold medalist.

01:31I was in different categories.

01:32Well, congratulations!

01:34You've already set the flag of the Philippines.

01:37But how is life abroad in Japan?

01:40Do you also perform there?

01:42Yes, every weekend, I work.

01:47At the same time, I work during the day.

01:49And during the weekend, I have gigs.

01:54In different bars, like in Tokyo, Friday and Saturday.

02:02You know, Filipinos are known abroad for their great songs.

02:09And you are a proof of that.

02:11Alright, what are your plans regarding your career as a singer?

02:19Well, I want to continue this passion

02:22because all of my songs have been my inspiration

02:32since when I was in grade school.

02:36We are competing with each other in amateur singing contests.

02:43Do you ever have a chance to compete with each other?

02:47Yes, we do.

02:50So whoever wins, it's okay?
