00:00Let's change the game with Project Safer!
00:07For those who have a motorbike, let's change the game with Project Safer!
00:14Let's change the game with Project Safer!
00:19Let's change the game with Project Safer!
00:25For those who have a motor impairment, senior citizens, or recovering from injuries,
00:38you don't have to struggle climbing stairs anymore
00:44because Project Safer or Stair Assistance for Everyone in Recovery
00:49Developed by George Lian Tizon, a Grade 11 student of the Tag-Geek Robotics Team
00:58It's user-friendly and easy to carry in your pocket
01:01The first choice was the already existing solution which is the cane
01:05which we just made an attachment to
01:07This simple attachment to the cane can help users climb the stairs
01:12by attaching to any kind of railing and adjusting to their size
01:15and using the motors to help pull the user upwards as a form of assistance
01:20The developer studied how to incorporate the project in stair railing
01:25in consideration with weight capacity, speed, and terrain adaptability of the user
01:30and to do that, they installed a gripping mechanism
01:34and it also has a powerful motor for necessary support
01:37No wonder the project was made by Best in Innovation
01:41just completed by the System Center for Integrated STEM Education Tech Expo last August
01:46With the materials at hand and also what we know in terms of robotics and technology
01:53we thought that this simple innovation, although quite simple, can still prove quite effective
01:58This is how Project Safer works
02:01First, we will press the switch to turn it on
02:06but it will not turn immediately
02:08To do that, we need to press the speed setting
02:14That is the red button
02:16It has three levels of speed, it just gets faster
02:20We just need to place it in between, this is where we will insert the railing
02:25I hope we can help and support this type of project
02:30that has the potential to help more people here in the Philippines

02:39Changing the Game!
02:41In obtaining vital signs, different devices are needed
02:45but it was made more efficient with the all-in-one innovation of Grade 11 students
02:50Let's change the game and find out what Project Safest can do
02:58Vital Signs Checker, are you there?
03:03Your ability to measure height, weight, pulse, and oxygen level
03:08is all-in-one with this innovation
03:11Presenting Project Safest
03:14Our plan is to make it as portable as possible
03:17but it can be too light to the point that it is not stable anymore
03:22Each sensor has its own calibrations
03:25It can be used to measure height, weight, pulse, and oxygen level
03:31It can be used to measure weight, pulse, and oxygen level
03:36It can be used to measure height, pulse, and oxygen level
03:41Each sensor has its own calibrations
03:44It has to be in a specific formula so that it can accurately test
03:53Programmed with sensors is the simple chassis of the project
03:56that makes the process of vital sign intake much easier
03:59The data that we will get from Project Safest
04:02will be automatically stored in the Excel file for periodic review and monitoring of the patient
04:08Project Safest was one of the first to be introduced
04:11after the Summer Robot Games International Open Youth Robotics Convention last July
04:17We won first runner-up for our innovation and we had a lot of fun
04:25These are the parts of Project Safest
04:28We will start with the height sensor where your height will be accurately measured
04:33At the bottom, we have the weight sensor
04:36and the most important part, the pulse oximeter sensor
04:41The pulse oximeter sensor measures and calculates our heart rate and oxygen level
04:47After we get all the data, we will go to the SIM module
04:53where the part or component of Project Safest will send a text notification
05:01to the patient if he needs to go to the doctor based on his vital signs
05:08An innovation that can simplify the intake of our vital signs
05:13that will not only help our healthcare workers
05:16but also regular clinic and hospital patients
