00:00Congressmen who did not talk about their fellowship last night with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. clarified the issue of impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:12Instead, a manifesto was handed down by the president's supporters.

00:27This is another example of a manifesto given by congressmen to the president in a fellowship in Malacan last night.

00:35As part of the promises made here by lawmakers to defend the president as a symbol of the sovereignty of the country,

00:42maintaining the rule of law and democratic governance,

00:45giving protection to the country from internal and external threats,

00:49advancing unity,

00:51and ensuring that the president's mandate is always upheld.

00:55The manifesto was handed down by the leaders of the House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

01:01Political party leaders from the lower ranks also signed the manifesto.

01:05The fellowship in Malacan was held after the two impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte were handed down.

01:13But House Deputy Majority Leader Paulo Ortega clarified that there was no discussion here about politics,

01:20and the impeachment was not even discussed.

01:23Basically, there was a dinner and the resolution was presented.

01:28There was a little discussion, about an hour, and then everyone went home.

01:34There was no truth in what was said or speculated or what other people were thinking.

01:43In an interview signed by House Secretary General Reginald Velasco,

01:47it was only a simple gathering that took place in Malacan.

01:55and Merry Christmas to the congressmen.

02:01He thanked the continued support of the congressmen in the administration,

02:08particularly the priority bills of the administration.

02:13More than 200 congressmen participated in the gathering.

02:16This is just a part of the different efforts of the two branches of the government.

02:21The Presidential Communications Office also said that the so-called fellowship has been scheduled for a long time.
