00:19It was the power, it was the raw emotion of those innings that really showed Sachin at

00:23his best.

00:24Against Australia when he gave the beating of a lifetime to Shane Warne, who was as a

00:29matter of fact in the peak of his career, he was a better bowler than he was ever and

00:32Sachin obviously knew that and stood up to him and that was a time when we were kids

00:37and then we started idealising Sachin Tendulkar as a batsman and as a cricketer.

00:42When he scored his 10,000 runs in the year 2000 and that too against Australia, that

00:47was a really proud moment.

00:49He had been rebuked for some of his loss of focus.

00:53He got out of that shell of controversy and managed to just glorify the whole game of

00:58cricket I think.

00:59In 1993, the Hero Cup in Eden Gardens, Kolkata and Gopil Devo did not finish his quota and

01:04he was the first choice but Sachin grabbed the ball and did an exceptional job and when

01:10he made it, you just can't believe the uproar and the excitement.

01:19Tendulkar's 200 against South Africa, I believe this is one of the best or the best training

01:25from him.

01:26Sachin is the reason for that.

01:27When he made it, he was 36 years plus 10 months.

01:30Considering this age factor and he completely had 50 runs, 50 overs actually which is not,

01:37it's amazing.

01:38In 2003 World Cup, he made 98, amazing score against Pakistan.

01:44He played against Pakistan in Sharjah and Imran Khan was bowling to him and he got a

01:49few hits on himself but he actually never gave up and he actually showed them that he

01:55is not a small guy.

01:56It has got to be him and his friend, even before he started his career, scored 664 partnership

02:05with Kamli and he's scoring 326 out of the 664 itself for me was a moment.

02:12I have been lucky when I saw the Harry Shield first match when he played with Vinod Kamli.

02:16We could see that Achrekar sir, that is Sachin's coach, asking him to, you know, we want to

02:21declare but Sachin was telling Vinod, don't look at him.

02:24My favourite Sachin moment is when he had scored a century when his father had died.

02:30He actually showed the determination for his country.

02:33So after his father had died, he also scored a hundred in that match.

02:37I used to see him in Sharjah, I used to remember a comment very loud said by Sunil Gavaskar

02:43that this little guy is going to be something.

02:47And today when I see him play and I always remember those words and that was a very precious

02:52moment for me, I think, and he has proved it.
