00:30My house started swaying, and then about a minute later, we got a tsunami warning.
00:36And it's supposed to be coming through San Francisco Bay right about now.
00:41I understand it's canceled, but they told us to evacuate to higher ground.
00:46So I grabbed my kittens, they're in the car, and the three of us drove uphill.
00:52First, we went to Alta Plaza Park because we heard there was a tsunami watch party.
01:01So we went and checked that out.
01:03And then sadly we got the, not sadly, we unfortunately got the notification that the tsunami warning
01:09was canceled.
01:10Thankfully, that everyone is safe.
01:13Yeah, we're in the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor, and I'm a liveaboard, I live on my sailboat.
01:19And a warning came out at about 1044 that tsunami's coming to clear the area to get
01:26on higher ground.
01:27So I did.
01:29They don't want you on the dock when it comes through.
01:31If you're out in the ocean, it's just a little blip of a wave that hits your boat.
01:37It's not a problem.
01:38But when it builds up in the shallow water, that's when it's really a danger.
