00:0034-31. Big win for Detroit. They get themselves to 12-1 now on the season.
00:06I thought this was without question the biggest play of the game. We had a lot of touchdowns last night.
00:11Up and down. I mean, Tim Patrick scoring two touchdowns for the Lions.
00:17Josh Jacobs had a hat trick for the Packers, but here it is.
00:21About 40 seconds left in the game. Fourth and one for the Lions, deep in Packer territory.
00:28First down ices it. Gets stopped. Game stays tied. Here's Al on Amazon Prime.
00:34They are going. And then Goff falls down, but Montgomery is able to pick up the first down.
00:41So Goff falls down as he's making the handoff, and they should seal it.
00:46They'll run the clock down, pick the field goal. What a call!
00:50Yeah, what a call. So listen, it is what it is. They got it done.
00:56They've been getting it done all year. All they do is win. They always find a way.
01:01Maybe they are the team. Maybe they are that team.
01:05Maybe they are the ones that are going to have that season where they go all the way and get it done.
01:11I got to tell you, though, I have never seen anything like that egg they laid last year against San Francisco.
01:17I mean to tell you, they had it all figured out, didn't they?
01:21It reminded me of the Falcons in the Super Bowl. It was that bad.
01:26It really was. The only difference was the Falcons was the Super Bowl.
01:30This was the title game, and they screwed that up nice and juicy.
01:34So believe me, they got that on their shoulders. They're trying to get rid of that monkey.
01:39There's no doubt about it. And they just keep winning, and everyone thinks it's so automatic.
01:44I'm telling you, this team, Philly, they're as good as the Lions.
01:50And I mean, they mean business, and I hate to say it.
01:53I'm not a fan, but I have to play them, the Steelers, next week at the Linc. I'm scared to death.
01:58I mean, that's an L, L, loss, win, loss.
02:03I mean, I think Philadelphia can beat the Lions. I really do.
02:07Everyone thinks the Lions are so done deal, automatic.
02:11I mean, that's not the way the NFL tournament works.
02:14The playoffs are there for a reason. They're crazy. They're crazy, the playoffs.
02:21And that game last year against the Niners, they had a 24-7 lead at halftime in the NFC title game,
02:27and they ended up losing 34-31 to San Francisco in that game.
02:32And the Lions play the Bills next week. That's going to be a massive game in Detroit,
02:37as Josh Allen will come a-calling into fourth field.
02:40I think the Bills can beat the Lions at SoFi this week and then go right there and beat them.
02:46That's how good I think Buffalo is.
02:49I think they can as well. Here is Dan Campbell on what this win meant for the Lions,
02:55and they're going to remember it for a long time.
02:57I told the team, this will be one of those you never forget.
03:00So in golf, pregame, I said, man, you've played all these games, you had this long career.
03:06And I'm sure there's some, you probably don't remember everything when you've played as long.
03:11And I said, you will never forget this one. You will never forget this game.
03:15And I think a lot of it is just that, what we've had to overcome, the hand we were dealt.
03:20And I just love the fact our guys don't make excuses, man.
03:23They just find a way. And everybody on this team believed we were going to win that game
03:30and we were going to find a way. And we did it again. We did it again. Guys did it.
03:36Listen, I don't buy that, that this is a game that they'll never forget.
03:43I come from the side of the river. You remember title games in Super Bowls.
03:49You do not remember some game in Week 14 against your division rival who you play twice a year.
03:56When you play, like the Steelers played in Ravens so many times, twice a year, every year.
04:00Every team in the division, twice a year, every year.
04:02If you play 10 years in the league, do you think they remember all these games?
04:07It's like a bad dream. They bleed right into one another.
04:11I don't believe that for one minute. I'll tell you the game they remember.
04:14And I told you this before. No one ever forgets their heartbreaking losses.
04:19I've said this a million times. No one wants to hear it.
04:23I've been in a ton of championship basketball games.
04:26And I literally, Mafia's been in them with me. You only remember the losses.
04:32You don't even remember the wins. I do not remember the wins.
04:35I remember all of the losses, like it was an ex-wife cleaning you out in divorce court.
04:40I mean to tell you, they remember the Niner game last year is what they remember.
04:46They don't remember this game last night. You'll remember this game the rest of your life, my ass.
04:50You remember that choke job in the NFC title game? I guarantee you that.
04:54Because I'll guarantee you that big galoof. He wakes up in the middle of the night sweating going,
04:58Ah, the Niners. Ah, ah, oh God.
05:02I'm telling you, they only remember title games and losses. That's it.
05:06All they care about is money, and they only remember big losses. That's it.
05:10Only remember big losses. And I don't know where he's at.
05:14You know, everything's against us. You're 12-1.
05:17Relax, Dan. I like Dan a lot. I like Dan's fire.
05:21I like him too, but come on.
05:23But relax with everyone against the stuff.
05:26Like the whole world would love to see Detroit actually win something for once in football.
05:30And let's remember this. He still hasn't won anything.
05:33Still has not won.
05:34Yeah, I've been hearing about how great he is and how great they are.
05:38And they haven't won a shot.
05:40You know what? Let's say they don't lose another game in the regular season.
05:44You want to know what 16-1 is in the regular season?
05:46It's just like in the NHL when they hang those President's Trophy banners up.
05:51Regular season champion. Nobody cares.
05:53No one cares.
05:54It's what you do in January and playing in the big game. That's it.
06:00This regular season stuff is nonsense.
06:02Every game they play every year, and then they go to the playoffs and lay an egg,
06:05and that's what they remember.
06:07That's it. That's what it's all about.
06:09Got to change the narratives in January.
06:11As for the Packers side of things, Matt LaFleur, as we were kind of mentioning earlier,
06:16just didn't like that it took the offense a bunch of series before they actually got in the game.
06:21I thought we just started, especially on the offensive side of the ball, too slow.
06:26I mean, we go punt, punt, fumble, then we score a touchdown.
06:30It's only a handful of plays that separate these types of games.
06:35And like I told our team, we're going to have to earn the right to potentially come back here.
06:40It's not going to be easy, and we've got to put in the work.
06:45But I'm confident in the resiliency of our group and that they're going to continue to fight
06:51and push each other to get better and stay connected
06:55because I do think we have a pretty good football team.
06:59I think that they do as well.
07:01And Mike, I think one of the reasons they're so good is I see how they run things there.
07:06I figured out how they run things.
07:08Everyone's young. They have no old players.
07:11Everyone is young.
07:13There's not one guy over 25 years old on that football team.
07:16So they go with the draft. They go with young.
07:19They go with talent. They go with speed.
07:22And I think he's a great coach.
07:24Obviously, he's been in huge successful moments.
07:27And I think, and I'm going to say this, they had him right where they wanted him last night.
07:32He was 31 apiece.
07:34If they play him again, I don't care if it's in Ford Field or if it's in hell,
07:38I think the Packers can beat him.
